For years, poet Judy Goodenough traded poems, songs and inspiration with Gordon. Before she died, she asked Gordon to publish her last book of poetry. Not afraid to tell it like it is, her poems are rural New England, as raw as the granite hills. Sometimes eerie, often humorous, Gordon says, "No one could snap my literary garters like she could."
